Weald Chase – Para 55

ASP were appointed in 2015 to provide planning advice in relation to proposals for an innovative dwelling located on a former quarry site in Cuckfield. It was established that the sites location within the AONB meant that any proposals for a new dwelling would have to conform to paragraph 55 of the NPPF. Morgan Carn Architecture was appointed and a feasibility study produced and presented to Mid Sussex District Council. The proposals were supported and an application was submitted in January 2017. A considerable amount of further discussion with Mid Sussex Design Panel resulted in the grant of planning permission in June 2017.
